Pre-Divorce

Under a no-fault divorce, the Parties must be separated before they can be divorced. Usually this is done by a separation agreement.

Custody Issues

The Court shall make a determination as to the children's custody premised on the best interest of the children. Often the result of this analysis will not end with either parents gaining sole custody of any child.

Equitable Distribution

Seldom shall the distribution of assets be less than an equal distribution of all the martial assets. This would include the distribution of future retirement benefits.
